For HKU students, graduates, and researchers who dare to take the leap, the SEED Programme (for students and recent graduates) and DEEPTECH100+ (for research-based start-ups) provide structured ideation and incubation support to help transform ideas into viable ventures. Through TSSSU@HKU, eligible start-ups may also receive seed funding or matching support to strengthen their angel fundraising efforts.

For HKU start-ups seeking fundraising opportunities, submit your investment teaser and join Demo Day to showcase your venture to potential investors. Through the Super Angel Network, HKU’s community of alumni and supporters, and the Entrepreneurship Engine Fund (EEF), the University’s venture investment fund, founders gain access to capital, investors, and industry connections that can accelerate business growth and market expansion.

Along the way, founders can benefit from guidance through our Mentor and Advisor Network, tap into a wide range of Professional Services, participate in complimentary training programmes such as Start-up Legal Day and IP Day, and join the iDendron Co-working Community in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and beyond.
