• Person-in-Charge shall be a HKU student, alumnus or staff member, or a member of the public who uses or will use HKU IP
• HKU members altogether shall have 20% or more ownership OR the company licenses a HKU IP
• If applying as a company, it must be registered within two years before the application deadline

• This programme run twice a year with cut-off dates on the last Sunday of May and November

• 1-Year

• Recipients of the award may receive up to HK$1.5M per year for a maximum of 3 consecutive years under TSSSU–O and 3 consecutive years for TSSSU+, respectively

• The applicant shall be a start-up company of at least two members, in which Person-in-Charge (PIC) must be an HKU member
• HKU members should own at least 20% ownership in total in the applying or to-be-established company.

• Recipients of the award may receive up to HK$1.5M per year for a maximum of 3 consecutive years under TSSSU–O and 3 consecutive years for TSSSU+, respectively
