Ir Prof Alan Lam, JP is an adjunct professor at CUHK, CityU and PolyU supervising PhD research, and teaching AI and IoT technologies as well as startup courses, and actively participated in various professional and public services in the innovation and technology industry. In 2004, he founded Sengital Limited and he has led the company to win dozens of technology awards and related patents. He invented the HK first GenAI Agents Platform called Poffices.ai in December 2024, now he is the Sengital Group Chairman. He is a member of Innovation and Technology Fund Vetting Committee, approving grants for more than 16 years, as well as InnoHK steering committee members and AI R&D Institute board member. He serves as chairman of LSCM and chairman of vetting committee of ITF accelerator programme. Professor Lam is one of the ten outstanding young person in Hong Kong in 2015. He awarded the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service in 2019 and was appointed as Justices of the peace by Chief Executive in 2023. In addition, he started angel investment in 2014, and joined Gravity Capital Partners Co Ltd in 2021 and now is CEO. He continuously serves innovation and technology industry in hk.

Donald started his career as a Consultant on Wall Street with Andersen Consulting. He has held Principal Consultant roles in NASDAQ listed companies, creating and expanding their business in Asia/Pacific.

With 25+ years of consulting experience, living and working in the USA and throughout Asia Pacific, Donald provides his clients with an international perspective.

A native of New York and fluent in English and Cantonese, Donald holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University – School of Business, graduating as a Scholar Recipient.

He is also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Dr. Donna Brown serves as the Associate Director of Digital Health Technology at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). In this role, she drives the development and commercialization of the Life & Health Technology ecosystem, fostering innovation and market readiness. Dr. Brown actively engages with the startup community, spearheading the translational development of Digital Health technologies across the region. She guides startups in refining their business cases, value propositions, and capacity-building strategies, while connecting innovators with key stakeholders to transform ideas into market-ready solutions. Additionally, she leads strategic initiatives and business matching programs to support entrepreneurs throughout the Life and Health Technology value chain.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Brown is a seasoned healthcare professional with a distinguished career in commercial, industrial, and leadership roles at renowned Fortune 500 multinational firms. Her expertise spans Life & Health Technology across Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong, equipping her with a deep understanding of both strategic and operational business aspects. Ed recently relocated to Hong Kong from Silicon Valley. He comes from a strong background in strategy, product management, and business development focused on commercializing innovative technologies. For the past fifteen years Ed has worked as advisor and investor in multiple startups around the world, as a consultant to F500 enterprise technology and security companies, and as an entrepreneur, in the IoT, media and payments spaces. Dr. Jing Bao is a physician-scientist and senior executive with deep expertise in translational research, global clinical trials, FDA regulation, and venture capital. She spent 13 years as a primary care physician and 16 years at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she served as a medical and scientific leader overseeing global clinical trials and FDA IND applications, and conducted cancer research recognized by Nature Reviews. In recent years, Dr. Bao has served as Chief Medical Officer for multiple pharmaceutical and biotech companies and as a Partner at a life science venture capital firms located in Shanghai and HongKong, She serves on U.S. and Israeli biotech boards and is an adjunct professor at HKUST. A recipient of the NIH Director’s Merit Award and the 2025 Sino-Phil Asia Peace Prize, her career spans China, Israel, and the United States.

Dr. Miles Wen is CEO and Founder of Fano AI, a spin-off company from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) that has raised over hundreds of millions of dollars in venture investment from renowned investors such as Horizons Ventures, Alibaba, and HSBC etc. Dr. Wen specializes in information and communication technologies, optimisation algorithms, big data, and machine learning and has numerous academic publications and patents.
