Paul is former Dean of Engineering and Associate Vice-President (Research) before he retired from his full-time position in 2018. He is currently serving as Honorary Professor in EEE and in Computer Science. He was an early driver of innovation and entrepreneurship at HKU before his retirement, served as founding director of TTO, MD of Versitech, and started DreamCatchers, Entrepreneusrhip Academy and MedTech Hackathon at HKU. He is currently a member of the HK Federation of Youth Group Council and a few other volunteer position. He still teaches part-time in the School of Computing and Data Science at HKU, with over 400 students taking his courses.

Prior to founding Kaleida Group, Julian was product operations director and chief of staff for Google Cloud Business Platform. Julian held multiple leadership roles in companies including Google, GE, and McKinsey. Julian holds an active CFA designation. He earned an MBA and a master’s in aerospace science from the University of Michigan. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in physics from the Hong Kong University.

Dr. Norman Sze currently serves as Partner Emeritus of Deloitte China and was just retired in 2025. Previously, he held the position of Vice Chair of Deloitte China. With over 35 years of experience in management consulting and accounting, Dr. Sze is a pioneer in China’s management consulting industry, having provided long-term services to numerous leading enterprises across various sectors in China. In recognition of his profound professional expertise and contributions to the industry, he was named “China’s Leader in Financial Consulting Services” by Euromoney magazine and was conferred the title of “Honorary Fellowship of the University of Hong Kong” by the University of Hong Kong.

Ms. Tam is a professional Town Planner for over 40 years. She ran a town planning consulting firm for some 15 years. She joined Urban Renewal Authority in 2006 and was the Managing Director when she left in 2015. She resumed her private practice afterwards and finally retired in 2024. She was the President of Hong Kong Institute of Planners (1995-1997) and has been active in public services.

Yunlan Xu (Happy) is the General Manager of Global Education at Ruijie Networks, where she leads international expansion in smart education across Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe, and Latin America. A graduate of HKU’s MSc in Electronic Commerce and Internet Computing, she was recognized as HKX-Tech’s “Best Campus Ambassador” for driving innovation and student engagement during her studies.
