Entrepreneurial Internship Programme (EIP) is a new initiative that provides students with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Entrepreneurial Internship Programme is now accepting applications for the 2024/25 school year. It offers selected students the opportunity to gain practical experience that drives impact by working for the Techno-Entrepreneurship Core(TEC) and/or Technology Transfer Office (TTO)
at HKU. As an intern, you will have the chance to support innovation and entrepreneurship-related initiatives of the University. This includes working on commercialization processes from the top-notch research projects, allowing you to gain hands-on experience within Innovation & Entrepreneurship ecosystem of HKU.
Gain hands-on experience from Innovation & Entrepreneurship ecosystem by working on commercialization processes from the top-notch research projects of HKU;
Integrate and apply knowledge gained in coursework in a real-life setting;
Improve problem-solving and collaborative skills in a working environment;
Selected student(s) may opt for enrollment of the IIMT2628 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Internship , credit-bearing undergraduate course of HKU Business School (subject to the approval of faculty and course instructor);
An honorarium will be provided upon successful completion of programme with satisfactory performance.
Current HKU students in undergraduates year two or above (in 2024/25), or postgraduates from all disciplines;
Strong interest and relevant knowledge in innovations, entrepreneurship, start-ups, and venture capital are preferred;
Sound knowledge in engineering, science, biotechnology or business administration are preferred.
