This special edition is open to early-stage startups and prospective TSSSU@HKU applicants. Participants will learn about the TSSSU@HKU 2027/28 funding arrangements, alongside key investment terms, fundraising essentials, and practical business insights for startups. In addition, participants may register for one-on-one consultation sessions with TEC’s Professional Service Partners to discuss fundraising strategies, investment terms, and investment readiness. Due to limited availability, priority will be given to startups that have secured an investment term sheet or are actively pursuing fundraising opportunities.

The Technology Startup Support Scheme for Universities at HKU (TSSSU@HKU) is a funding programme that supports HKU students, researchers, and faculty members in transforming innovative technologies and research and development outcomes into successful startups.TSSSU@HKU comprises TSSSU-O and TSSSU+, providing up to HK$1.5 million in funding per year to support technology startups. For startups that have attracted private-sector investment, TSSSU+ offers dollar-for-dollar matching funding, helping them scale faster and maximize their market impact.
