This event is designed for innovative startups that possess promising business ideas or prototypes and are actively fundraising or preparing to secure investment. If you are ready to deliver a compelling pitch or showcase your project, Demo Day offers an outstanding platform to enhance your visibility, connect with engaged investors and industry leaders, and expand your professional network.

Organized in collaboration with the HKU Techno‑Entrepreneurship Academy, this event creates a dynamic stage for entrepreneurial talent. The HKU Business School and its South China Alumni Network will also lend their support, helping to invite experienced judges and industry experts to evaluate and mentor participating startups.

About HKU Demo Day

HKU Demo Day is a quarterly event series designed for all HKU-affiliated startups and members of the HKU Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) ecosystem. At each event, promising startups showcase their business plans and latest progress to a curated audience of industry experts and venture capital investors. Each team will have a 5-minute pitch to present their ideas. A panel of distinguished judges will select the winning teams, who will have the opportunity to receive complimentary co-working space support from iDendron, as well as the chance to showcase their projects through an exhibition to further accelerate their growth.

 

 

Key Event Highlights: 

  • Pitch Format: Each startup will deliver a focused 5-minute pitch + 5-minute Q&A to present their vision and progress. 
  • Networking Opportunities: Entrepreneurs will gain significant exposure to the industry leaders and venture capital investors through the pitching session.
  • Other Benefits: Selected winning teams will receive complimentary co-working space support from iDendron and the opportunity to showcase their projects through an exhibition.
