HKU offers structured pre-incubation/incubation programmes to support students, alumni and staff members to embark on the entrepreneurial journey.
Through these programs, participants gain crucial skills and resources necessary to refine and develop their startup ideas, as well as valuable connections within the entrepreneurial community, leaving them well-prepared for the next stage of startup development.

- TSSSU@HKU includes TSSSU-O and TSSSU+, offering up to HK$1.5 million annually to support technology startups.
- TSSSU-O provides funding for up to 3 consecutive years; TSSSU+ offers dollar-for-dollar matching funding for startups with private-sector investment and strong growth potential, also available for up to 3 consecutive years.
Eligibility
The application must be submitted by a qualified company registered in Hong Kong and represented by the designated Person-in-Charge (the “PIC”) of the applicant company. The submission must also adhere to the requirements stated on TSSSU-O and TSSSU+
