About iDendron @ Wanchai
Located at the Wuxi Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Center (WX-HK STIC), adjacent to the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre at WanChai, the off-campus co-working space “iDendron@WanChai” offers HKU members a vibrant and collaborative environment, featuring workstations, meeting rooms, and more. As a strategic platform, it drives startup incubation, accelerates business growth, and fosters innovation and entrepreneurship.
Applications open every June and December for cohorts starting in July and January, respectively.

Membership Fees
- Free for the first 6 months for existing iDendron members (membership fee applied), renewal is subject to final decision of WX-HK STIC.
- Utility and management fees waived

Eligibility Requirements
- Each application must be submitted by a Person-in-Charge (PIC) who is a student, alumnus, or staff member of HKU or its affiliated institutions.
- The PIC must be a founder or co-founder holding equity in the applying company or act as PIC for teams not yet incorporated.
- All HKU members should collectively hold more than 20% ownership.
- The Project team/ Company must be registered as an iDendron member.
- Admitted teams/startups must work at the venue at least once every two consecutive weeks.

Application Timeline
Eligible project team or start-up must complete the online application form through the PIC with the following documents uploaded on or before the application deadline:
- A non-confidential corporate pitch deck
- Declaration of Use of HKU Knowledge/ Innovations/ Technologies (if applicable)
The Team/Startup may be invited for an interview.
