IP Day is a recurring event designed to provide workshops and consulting sessions addressing the intellectual property challenges faced by HKU entrepreneurs as they build and scale their startups. IP Service Partners, along with key contributors from the HKU Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) ecosystem, play a vital role in sharing their professional expertise to support and guide entrepreneurs.

Please register for the event and submit your specific IP-related questions. A total of six 30-minute 1:1 consulting sessions with experienced professionals are available for application. TEC and IP Service Partners will select the most urgent and high-quality questions for the 1:1 session. If you are unable to attend, feel free to send a representative from your team.

So you have your Patents filed, what now? IP Owners often think long and hard about the merits of their innovation before embarking on the journey of securing their IP. However, equally important is the commercial planning regarding the IP itself. In this seminar, the speaker will discuss the commercial aspects of IP, particularly in Patents and how to formally assess their own IP strategy so that inventors and entrepreneurs can embark on the IP journey with their eyes wide open!
