Competition Subsidy

International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Subsidy for HKU Student Entrepreneurs

 

Objective:

To promote participation among HKU students in renowned international innovation and entrepreneurship competitions held in cities outside of Hong Kong.

 

Eligibility

  • Enrollment as a current full-time or part-time student in a degree programme at HKU.
  • A maximum of two participants per team.
  • Teams must have advanced to the later stages of a competition that requires in-person attendance, held in cities outside of Hong Kong.

Subsidy Details

Reimbursable support up to HK$5,000 covering economy class airfare and accommodations for up to two nights.

Application Procedure

  1. Complete the online application HERE before your trip
  2. Upon receipt of written approval, review and return the signed copy of the “TEC Support Acknowledgement Agreement.”
  3. Following your trip, submit a summary report and attach all relevant receipts to reimburse your expenses.
