Introduction
The Innovalley HKU International Techno-Entrepreneurship Challenge is organized by HKU Institute for China Business and HKU Techno-Entrepreneurship Core, supported by Intellectual Property Department, The HKSAR Government, InvestHK, HKU Technology Transfer Office, HKU iDendron, Asia Innovation and Intellectual Property Society, Qiming Venture Partners, China Unicom Global Limited, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited.
The competition aims to promote technological innovation and industrial development, facilitate international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, and accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
The 2024 HKU International Techno-Entrepreneurship Challenge will bring together top technology experts, prominent investors and investment institutions, and industry leaders from around the world to serve as judges for participating teams. This panel will conduct rigorous evaluations and provide guidance, as well as offer valuable resources and support for outstanding projects.
The competition will have two categories: start-up and growth. It will take place across six locations worldwide, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Hong Kong (including Overseas). The competition will be divided into four stages: online registration, empowerment training, semi-final competition, and Grand Finale. The Grand Finale is scheduled to take place on January 11, 2025, at the University of Hong Kong. Further information, please refer to the ICB’s website.
