1.5°C Summit

HKU iDendron has partnered with the 1.5°C Summit – a conference organized by New World
Development and their open innovation platform Eureka Nova – and would like to invite anyone who
is interested in learning about the trends and technologies related to sustainability to join us.

Limiting global warming to 1.5°C could lead to rapid and large-scale reduction in greenhouse gas
emissions. To prevent the planet from passing the point of no return, this is the defining decade.

This year, the 1.5°C Summit will be hosted in a hybrid format and will be part StartmeupHK Festival
third year in a row. The summit will cover a wide variety of topics, including net-zero innovation,
greener transport solutions, green buildings and reimagining waste reduction. The event will
showcase how various industries and startup players are leveraging technology and innovation to
help reduce the impacts of climate change and create a more sustainable future.
