Cyberport University Partnership Programme(CUPP) is an entrepreneurship programme with boot camp, mentorship and competition that aims at
nurturing young talents for Hong Kong since 2015.For the upcoming cohort, CUPP is themed in Web3 to nurture more young Web3 talents in Hong Kong.
 
 

 

 

Programme Structure

  • CUPP Web3 2024 Co-organising Universities are invited to nominate teams of current students and recent graduates aged between 18 to 30 years old. Each team shall consist 3 to 5 team members.
  • The nominated teams will be assessed by written test and interview. Up to 20 teams will be selected to join a series of pre-camp nurturing sessions and industry mentorship in Hong Kong and 7-day Entrepreneurship Boot Camp at Draper University in August 2024.
  • After the Boot Camp, the teams will pitch to a judging panel in Hong Kong. The winning teams could win HK$100,000 Web3 Seed Fund to continue their start-up venture.

 

Eligibility

  • Project must be rooted in digital tech and focus on Web3 related areas.
  • Applicants must be nominated by CUPP Web3 2024 Co-organising Universities.
  • Applicants must be between 18 to 30 years old (inclusive) upon the nomination deadline (i.e. 11 March 2024).
  • Applicants must be undergraduate or postgraduate students nominated by the Co-organising Universities, either currently enrolled university students or recently graduated within 3 years prior to the nomination deadline (i.e 10 Mar 2021 to 11 Mar 2024) from the co-organising universities.
  • Applicants must have good command of English.
  • Team members could be a mixture of students from the CUPP Web3 2024 Co-organising Universities.
  • Each team could have up to 5 members. (Maximum 3 members per team can join the Entrepreneurship Boot Camp)

An online briefing session is going to be held to introduce the programme to university students interested in joining CUPP Web3 2024. Details of the briefing session are as follows:
