Dr. Jianyu Jiang
Technology Lead, ByteDance
Biography
Dr. Jianyu Jiang is currently a Tech Lead at ByteDance Seed, focusing on large-scale AI foundation model training. His recent work aims to enhance the usability and efficiency of AI training frameworks. Prior to this, he was a research scientist at Huawei (Hong Kong), working on large language model training. Jianyu received his PhD from the University of Hong Kong, and has published extensively in top-tier conferences and journals, including SOSP, MICRO, EuroSys, and USENIX ATC. He was also recognized with a Distinguished Paper Award at ACSAC.
