DESCRIPTION:INTRODUCTION\n  \nThe HKU Techno-Entrepreneurship Core (TEC) is dedicated to coordinating and enhancing the University of Hong Kong’s efforts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to nurture a thriving ecosystem that supports the ambitions of HKU entrepreneurs and startups throughout their venture journeys. In response to their evolving needs\, we are actively seeking credible service providers who can offer pro bono or discounted services to our students\, faculty\, and entrepreneurs. \n  \nSelected service providers will be prominently recognised as a Service Partner on the TEC’s official website for the duration of the partnership. HKU TEC may collaborate with Service Partners to co-host workshops and training events. \n  \nEligible HKU participants—including students\, faculty members\, and TEC-certified startups—can engage directly with Service Partners to access pro bono or discounted services. \n  \nHKU TEC will periodically review the actual usage of Service Partners’ services and user feedback to adjust the list as needed. \n  \n

This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in the strategic cooperation agreement signed between the two entities in 2022\, which aims to foster innovation and technological advancement in the region. \n  \nUnveiled in May 2024\, the HKU Techno-Entrepreneurship Academy embodies a shared vision for creating a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship centred around education and incubation. The Academy will provide services and support to young technology talents and scientists\, nurturing projects in artificial intelligence\, healthcare\, new energy\, and new materials. With distinctive technology training programs and themed accelerators that leverage the regional innovation ecosystems and HKU’s international network\, TEA aims to serve as a new launchpad for disruptive innovations\, facilitating both inbound and outbound expansion of young start-ups. \n  \nThe formal opening ceremony is scheduled for 4 September 2024\, featuring a day filled with celebration and learning.
