Pitching Day is the final competition of the Social Venture Champions programme, where shortlisted student teams present their social innovation ventures to an advisory panel convened by the HKU Social Venture Lab.

On the day, each team will deliver a 10-minute pitch followed by a Q&A session, outlining their solution’s social impact, innovation, scalability, and execution plan. The panel will assess proposals holistically against criteria including potential impact, novelty, growth potential and sustainability, and team competence and commitment.

Up to five teams will be selected to receive seed funding of up to HK$40,000 per team, professional training, mentorship, and pathways to external competitions and incubation programmes.
